Getting Started

1. Select your state to apply the correct sales tax rate
2. Fill in your business information (name, email, phone, address)
3. Enter your client's information (name is required, other fields are optional)

Adding Items

1. For each service or product, enter a description (select from dropdown or type your own)
2. Specify the quantity
3. Enter the unit price
4. Click "+ Add Item" to add more line items
5. Click the "×" button to remove an item

Invoice Details

• Invoice #: Automatically generated but can be edited
• Date: Defaults to today's date
• Tax Rate: Automatically set based on your state but can be adjusted
• Notes: Optional field for any additional information

Time-Saving Features

• Presets: Upload a text file with your common items to save time
• Client Data: Upload a text file with client information to select from
• Save Draft: Save your work and come back later

Finalizing Your Invoice

1. Click "Preview Invoice" to check how it will look
2. Click "Download PDF" to save the invoice to your computer
3. Use the "Send via Email" or "Send via SMS" buttons to share directly with your client

File Format Tips

Preset files: Should be text files with sections like this:
